Ultra Thin, Ultra Sexy - LED TVs Rule the Style World

In terms of style and design LED TV’s win hands down. The difference between other HDTV’S and LED is the depth. LED TV’s are extremely thin and lightweight, making them ideal for hanging on walls or in rooms with small space.
Some LED TV’s can be less than 1 inch thick! Samsung were the first to release an ‘ultra-slim’ LED television design. Since LED screens don’t need to be lit by fluorescent bulbs (which add greatly to the depth and thickness of traditional TVs) it means that manufactures are able to create stunning TV designs thanks to LED technology.
Some manufactures use a design called ‘LED Edge Lighting’. This design sees the LED backlights placed around the outside of the screen; this means there are actually no backlights behind the screen. The Edge Lighting shoots lights towards the centre of the screen and then is redirected through prisms. This new technology allows companies such as Samsung to achieve such thin panel designs as there is nothing behind the screen. This design also decreases energy consumptions as there are fewer lights used compared to a standard direct LED design.
If you are struggling for space, or simply want a super stylish television then LED televisions are the ideal choice. It will look great no matter where you put it.
